With each passing year, the welding profession continues to mature and evolve. That’s why a welder’s education shouldn’t end when he or she enters the workforce. There are always new welding techniques to master, new equipment to understand and new career paths to explore. Lincoln Electric seeks to support, educate and inspire working professionals with the resources they need to continue their career development and have as many opportunities open to them as possible.

The Lincoln Electric Welding Technology & Training Center performs professional seminars and workshops throughout the year on various topics of customer interest to inform participants of the latest in engineering practices and concepts, including:

Blodgett’s Welding Design Seminars – For over 60 years, more than 15,000 engineers have attended the Blodgett seminars. This program is for those responsible for reducing costs and improving productivity and quality through the efficient design of steel weldments for metal product applications.
CWI Prep Course, Seminar and Exam – This is a course taught by the Lincoln Electric Welding School to give you an extra week of low-cost preparation for the American Welding Society’s (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Seminar and Exam. It is offered the week before the AWS CWI Seminar.
Training for Welding Aluminum Alloys – Aluminum has become increasingly prevalent in a number of manufacturing industries because it delivers an improved strength to weight ratio over steel and is corrosion-resistant. Learn about the latest welding technology with hands-on practical application, demonstrations and lectures for advanced training.
VRTEX® Customer Training – These courses are designed for professionals and educators who teach welding using the VRTEX virtual reality training tool.
REALWELD® Customer Training – These courses are intended to allow new REALWELD® customers to get familiar with the system’s components, calibration, operation and system administration.
Advanced Welding Trainers Distributor Class – Designed for distributors, this class provides a combination of hands-on application and classroom training of all Lincoln Electric Advanced Welding Trainers which includes: VRTEX®, REALWELD® and Robotic Education Cell.
Service School – Lincoln Electric offers a variety of training courses for our network of authorized field service shops. The courses vary from three to five days and cover detailed instruction on how to troubleshoot and repair various Lincoln Electric welding equipment. They also include discussions on basic electricity and welder components, basic circuitry and theory of operation.

Motorsports Welding Courses

Work side-by-side with other welders who are involved in different aspects of the Motorsports industry, interact with them, and learn firsthand from their experiences.
