Virtual Welding Training -

real welding results

Help welders of all levels hone skills faster and improve their performance for less money with VRTEX virtual reality welding simulators from Lincoln Electric.

From the most accurate representations of welding puddles and coupons, to actual welding sounds and the ability to track precise movements and positions, what can be learned virtually with a VRTEX welding simulator seamlessly transfers into real-world, hands-on welding applications. Save on welding materials and reduce instruction and training costs while developing welding skills in less time than traditional training. Increase welder certification rates and reduce mistakes with a proven solution for developing the critical hands-on welding skills every welder needs to know.

The VRTEX welding simulator is saving us tens of thousands of pounds of material, not to mention electricity for all of the equipment, which is tremendous.

VRTEX MODELS

VRTEX® 360+ Dual User

The VRTEX 360+ (dual user) welding simulator is ideal for basic-to-advanced welding training, and as a skill evaluation and recruitment tool. The 360+ comes with twice as many tools and coupons as the 360 (single user), and different welding processes can be performed on each stand simultaneously.

  • Retractable SMAW stick stinger, GMAW/FCAW gun and GTAW TIG torch, filler metal and adaptive foot pedal devices realistically simulate the look, feel and action of actual guns and torches
  • Practice flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead 5G and 6G
  • VRTEX 360+ welding simulator’s dual stands allow for training two welders at a time for two times more practice time on a single machine

Please Note: You cannot upgrade from the VRTEX 360 welding simulator to the VRTEX 360+. You must select one model or the other.

VRTEX® 360 Single User

The VRTEX 360 (single user) welding simulator is ideal for basic-to-advanced welding training, and as a skill evaluation and recruitment tool.

  • Retractable SMAW stick stinger, GMAW/FCAW gun and GTAW TIG torch, filler metal and adaptive foot pedal devices realistically simulate the look, feel and action of actual guns and torches
  • Practice flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead 5G and 6G

Please Note: You cannot upgrade from the VRTEX 360 welding simulator to the VRTEX 360+. You must select one model or the other.

VRTEX Transport

The VRTEX Transport welding simulator is ideal for basic to intermediate welding training, engagement during recruiting efforts, prospective employee screening or as a skills evaluation tool to establish a baseline of student knowledge.

  • Uni-gun™ device is used for SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW welding
  • TIG filler metal and adaptive current foot pedal included
  • Practice flat, horizontal and vertical welds
VRTEX Engage®

For an introduction to the science and practice of welding, the first step is the VRTEX Engage welding simulator. This portable system shows students what it's like to weld and is ideal for introducing career pathways.

  • Introductory welding lessons (safety, machine/process selection, welding procedure setup, math, welding theory and more)
  • Processes include SMAW, GMAW and FCAW-S
